Rental Policies

• A drivers license or major credit card is required as collateral when renting skis or snowboards.
• All participants must sign a waiver. Persons under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.
• Please return all ski and snowboard rental equipment to the rental shop prior to our closing time of 10 pm.
• Rentals do not include lift tickets. Please purchase lift tickets separately or check out our Lift, Lesson & Rental Package for big savings!

Ski & Snowboard Rentals

Our rental shop, located in the Thatcher Building in the upper courtyard of Village Center, carries both skiing and snowboarding equipment for guests to reserve. We carry the latest technology in skis and snowboards, which makes learning easier and enhances the experience on snow. Guests are encouraged to pre-purchase their ski and snowboard equipment rentals at least 36 hours prior to their arrival to optimize their experience. A valid driver’s license or credit card is required to rent skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, or ski poles.

Kids Ski & Snowboard Rental Services

Jiminy’s rental shop also offers children’s rental equipment. Renting is a great alternative to buying your children new gear every season, as they grow. Our kids ski rentals start at 70cm (27.5″) skis and toddler size 7.5 boots. Our kids snowboard rentals start at 70 cm boards and junior size 11 boots. Those under 18 renting skis or snowboards will be required to have a parent or guardian sign their rental agreement.

NOTE: KidsRule Mountain Camp, in the Burbank Children’s Center, and the 1st Time Ski / Snowboard Lesson program, in the Doc Maynard Building, have their own rental equipment for program participants. Please go to your respective program and bypass the main rental shop!

Pre-Register

If you do not wish to purchase rentals online, the next best thing to do is pre-register before you arrive at the resort. By pre-registering, you are completing your rental paperwork electronically. When you arrive at the resort, go to the rental shop and simply give your name to a cashier. Your paperwork will be printed on the spot and you can begin the fitting process. Pre-registration is not a reservation or a guarantee of equipment. Ski and snowboard rental equipment is assigned on a first-purchased basis.

High Performance Demo Equipment

Before you invest in the top-of-the-line ski and snowboarding equipment why not test it out first?
